Exactly one year ago, we launched Bright Pixel and today marks our first anniversary.

Bright Barbecue with the team at Emenda 19

What an astounding and fast paced year it’s been for all of us.

During this twelve month ride, we set out ourselves to build a unique venture builder studio in Lisbon based on the premise that by integrating industry partners, technology, incubation, and investment, all together, would result in launching better and more robust startups into the market.

Our three-step distinctive venture builder model, where we use the Labs and the projects we’re doing in the enterprise space as a powerful ideation tool, allied with our technical capabilities and strong ties with the market, allow us to mitigate many of the early stage startup risks and create compelling synergies for the incubation and investment stages., one of our MVPs won the Lisbon Challenge and Caixa Empreender awards

We think we proved that the model works. Bright Pixel is now gaining scale, working with more clients in the Labs, incubating great startups and launching others from our internal MVP process, staying very close to talent, and making a dent in the ecosystem.

Thank you, our partners and clients, startups, investors, developer community, and friends of Bright Pixel for believing in and helping us get here.

To mark this occasion we’re launching our new Website. It’s all modern and shiny, updated with the latest about the world of Bright Pixel.

We’ve been learning from feedback. The new website now explains who we are, what we do, and how we do it, with more detail, yet keeping it simple and clear. We also added two new sections which reflect our strategy in moving forward:

  • A talent page, where you can find all about Pixels Camp, job openings at Bright Pixel, and a calendar of free talks and meetups we’re sponsoring. The Pixels Campfires.
  • And a dedicated investment section where we talk about Bright Ventures, our newly created SCR daughter company. That’s right, we’re now a group, and we’re working on setting up new vehicles for funding startups. More on this later.

We hope you like it!
